I have been an avid woodworker and cabinet maker for more than 20 years. I have purchased tools from “Lee Valley Tools”, “The House of Tools” and “Busy Bee Tools”. All three have excellent products and each company is very dependable. The “House of Tools” and “Busy Bee Tools” also carry power tools and machinery.

    Will join the others…Harbor Freight..
Needed a cheap drill ( think it was harbor freight or other similar liquidator).
Ridiculous price, what I got was a nice Black & Decker cord model.
Turned out to be an export model w/ all markings in Arabic?.so what.
Think it was $12.99 would have been more than double in stores.

I don’t know what the best store is necessarily. I know that Tool King has a huge selection of tools (especially professional grade power tools).

Here are a few other places you might be able to find tools:

    Amazon.com
    Ace Hardware
    Corner Hardware
    Hechinger
    Home Depot
    Northern Tool and Equipment
    Work Tough
