Medicinal Cannabis Lighting Question?
is four 26 watt daylight cfls (6500k) and one 8” “aquarium/plant” tube light enough to grow a medicinal cannabis plant? i know that will be fine for like vegging and stuff but can i grow it all the way through budding to? i know all about MH and HPS lights but im not in the market for one of those so for a cfl grow will it work? i also know its not gonna be the “good stuff” but i just wanna try a whack at this. plz respond and email me any tips at gtrick69@yahoo.com. thanx =]
to the first person who commented this: im glad you think im funny =] ha, im sure i do have some entertainment value. but its 18hrs. on and 6hrs. off during vegging state and 12 and 12 during budding (i guess it simulates summer sun or somthing like that..) i just wanted to know if the lights im using (for an indoor single plant grow) would be sufficiant enough to allow the plant to produce anything. From what i’ve been reading i think i have like the bare minimum required to produce a decent plant haha as pathetic as that is. My setup would work great for like flowers and stuff and small vegatables but cannabis requires alot of light. i think i have enough but idk. help? lol
you are too funny! back in the day a friend grew some. i think it was 16 hours of light but its also got to be warm and humid. 2 or 3 mistings a day with water and a weak miracle grow solution- very weak. its what i use on my peppers and tomatoes. btw you can get arrested for this….lol
It’ll work, but don’t expect great yields. Check out some of the cannabis growing forums on the internet for successful CFL grows.
