How can I make yahoo my default email client?


When i go to “tools - Internet options - programs - email”
its not giving me a option to choose yahoo
also by “set program access and default” i don’t see that option,
someone told me if i will download yahoo toolbar it will be added automatically i did so and nothing happened

    Yahoo is not a client. Outlook Express and Outlook are clients, as are many other email programmes that load on the machine. Yahoo is a server mail programme, it uses imap to run through the browser. On Yahoo you can not use smtp mail sending unless you pay a subscription to Yahoo for the extra services.

    on outlook and stuff you probably cant make yahoo your default account because 1 its not made by microsoft and 2 because basic(free) yahoo profile doesnt give pop service

    yahoo mail plus gives pop service

    just download “yahoo messenger” and the email will comw with it, just set up a yahoo account. good luck.
