Yahoo is currently having some problems

some things that have been suggested to help your problem:
-clear cache, cookies, browsing history on your browser
-update javascript and Adobe flash plater

some of the problems are not being able to receive, send, delete emails so this could be what your problem is

hopefully Yahoo! will sort it out soon

It could be that if you are e-mailing them at work with their work e-mail address or just their regualar e-mail address (at work) that their office doesn’t allow certain sites to be opened. I know that is how it is with my mom, she works at a doctors office and there are a lot of sites that they don’t allow, therefore my mom never gets any of my emails.

Same could go when they are trying to send you emails.
