    Probably not, you need to develop a framework of understanding. There are bioinformatic tools that we use, but you really need to have education before you can understand what they mean. My advice is to take a college bio 101 course, if you like it talk to the prof. If they do research in that college/university, ask to volunteer and work in the lab. This is the best thing to do. If you still like it, go to grad school and get a MS or PhD, you can’t do much research at the BS level. You can do sales or something though. Once you are in grad school you’ll find your niche. Best thing to do is talk to biologists like me and see if you are interested enough to make it a career.
